..............I saw a post in a Universal Facebook page that said that on certain rides, you are not allowed to have anything in your pockets...like a phone. The last time I was there, I know I had to put my waist pouch in a locker at Hulk. This trip, I planned on wearing cargo shorts, and to carry my essentials in zippered or buttoned pockets. I hated wasting time going to and from the lockers. Is that true, or just someone stirring up trouble by saying you have to put phones in a lockers? Thank you!

That's true. At 3 rides (Hulk, RRR, and Dragon Challenge) you have to put everything in the lockers and you walk through metal detectors to make sure you did.

At others if it fits in your cargo pockets you are fine but if it is a bag they'll make you put it in the locker.

My husband went to go through the single rider line at Hulk and then called me a few minutes later to meet him to get his phone. No phone allowed in the pocket once you go through the metal detector.

Yep, even if you have a jacket pocket that zippers, you cannot have anything in it. And the lockers can be an absolute nightmare certain times of year. This past week there was a queue outside the lockers, people waiting for one to free up so they could use it.

That is what I am worried about. I would hate to wait on line for a locker!

On the three rides mentioned, nope.

Lanyards are allowed for room key, cc, ticket...that sort of thing, and you can wear glasses, but no bags at all or metal in pockets.
