Just a quick post to let you guys on the stroller swap know that I saw the stroller this weekend at the Poly. shovelhd from the boards had the stroller and was dining at Kona at the same time we were so they left the stroller out front of the restaurant. I checked it out and it looks great with lots of mileage left on it!

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me (duh!) but the lime green ribbons are adding up on the handles! :)

Also--I didn't see shovelhd & his family--we hung around for a long time after our meal but they didn't come out--so sorry we missed you!

I think this swap stroller is so interesting! Are you really swapping the same stroller? Where do you drop off and pick up?

Oh WOW!!!! How cool is that!!!! So there are lots of ribbons???? oh I am so happy!!! We're you shocked when you realized that it was "Our" stroller?????? This is so cool, one of the swappers was asked at POR if "this is the stroller that's going around" We are FAMOUS!!!!!
I can't wait to see it again in August!!!

and Muffy...yes, it's the same stroller that Rileygirl donated to begin the stroller swap in March...it's been through 11 people and we get it to each other by meeting somewhere or dropping off at each other's resorts.

Thanks Karen!!!! you really made my day!!!:Pinkbounc

Sorry I didn't respond any sooner, haven't been feeling well. :(

The stroller looked really neat with the ribbons adding up and the condition looked great to me. I knew ahead of time that the stroller swapper and his family were going to be eating there at the same time we were, but for some reason we never met up.

DH & I stood outside Kona after we finished for about 10 minutes but the family didn't come up--sorry we missed you shovelhd! I tried to spot you guys but really didn't see anyone that matched your description. Hope you had a great trip!

I am sorry we missed you as well...it must have just been one of those deals. I kept my eye out for you and your husband but the restaurant was close to full when we left. We were on the monorail side against the window.

The stroller was a vacation saver. My 50lb 7yo fit just fine in the stroller with the baby tray removed, which is how we used it all week long. It was no problem pushing her along over the varied terrain of the parks. I slung my 15 lb. backpack over the handle which helped ease the burden on Dad.

It was delivered to us in great shape and I spent some time washing it down and cleaning the seat pad before we left. I didn't meet anyone incidentally that knew about the stroller nor did any of the CM's in the hotels, but then again WDW is such a huge place.

We enjoyed putting together our stroller book scrapbook page which was the first scrapbook page I can remember doing since I was a kid. Lots of fun.

I can't thank rileygirl enough for starting this off and for mom2of2 for helping coordinate the whole thing with me. It was waiting for me with Guest Services at the BWV when we got there and I left it with GS at the Contemporary on checkout day. We added AAA parking passes, a hole punch, some non-perishable kid snacks, teabags, and a couple of starter pin lanyards with a pin each. My kids just loved pin trading.

It was an awesome trip that exceeded all of our expectations. I'll write that up later. Just wanted to check in and let you know that the stroller worked out perfect for us and that it should be ready for the next guest.

Back home in the dank and dreary NE
