I was in the parks all week morning and evening and didn't see the dream teams or anyone with the special ears or special fast passes. I didn't expect to win anything, but I did expect to see those who did. :confused3

We just returned and were at AKL the same time (15th-22nd).

You must have just not been in the right park on the right day. We actually won dream fastpasses at MGM on Tues. morning. Twice we just missed dream fastpasses at MK. On Mon. morning we were heading onto Space Mountain and people were coming off with fastpasses. Then on Friday we were heading to Haunted Mansion but decided to stop and get fastpasses for Peter Pan. Our annual passes weren't working to get fastpasses so the CM gave myself and dd both fastpasses that were actually good right then so we decided to go ahead and ride. While we were in line a couple came up behind us and had dream fastpasses. I asked and they said they had just gotten off of Haunted Mansion and got them there. Also, when we were in Epcot on Thurs. we got on a ride with a family that had gotten them in Innovations earlier that morning.

I didn't see very many ears though and noticed that the ones we saw were different then the original ones they gave out. They were solid blue with white ears. I like the original ones that had the clouds on them and that were light blue.

We were there the first week of December and didn't see anything either. I guess we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time!! I would still love to win the DVC membership - guess I'll start sending postcards for 2008!!

We were there from the 15-22 and won fast passes in AK but we gave them away to a family at the next table while eating lunch.

I did see the dream team but not many prizes this time. A lot has to do with the volume of people in the parks vs. prizes to hand out.

We were at AK on 12/20 and won mickey ears while going through the Pangani Forest Trail, I also saw alot of fast pass winners at MK and AK.:cheer2: :cheer2:

we were there dec 13-20 saw plenty of the dream team members, but didnt win a dream at all. would have been nice to win one as we were on our only 4 generation trip.

We were there Dec 8th-15 and won Dream Fast Passes exiting Splash Mountain on 12/9. It was our first day in the park, second ride of the day, and my daughters 18th birthday. :goodvibes Never saw the Dream Team for the rest of the trip but it was a nice way to start things off!

We were there 12/20-12/26 and never saw anyone win anything. We only saw the Dream Team once but they weren't giving out anything. They were only walking through the area in Test Track where you exit the ride. We didn't see anyone come through there with Dream Passes so I'm not sure what they were doing there.:confused3

I didn't win anything, but I was pixie-dusted.:wizard: My birthday is on 12/23, so I was wearing my birthday button at the MVMCP on 12/21. I went to buy a hot dog for my DD and the CM gave me a FREE one (in addition to the one I bought) and wished me a Happy Birthday! The next day, we stopped at Sunshine Seasons at Epcot and a CM gave me a FREE chocolate chip cookie and wished me a Happy Birthday! So, while we didn't win any dreams, I still feel really special because I got to be at WDW on my birthday.

I am at the parks often, and have never seen anyone win anything (until I received something in April - a lanyard - and not since then). Then my parents won the castle. It's odd how things work out!

I'm too sleepy to look up the actual figures, but...
There are actually 1,250,000 official prizes being granted over a period of 457 days (fifteen months - 10/1/06 to 12/31/07*).
Prizes are being granted at six parks, plus Downtown Disney, plus via mail-in sweepstakes entries.
This works out to an average of 2,735 prizes per day, which means an average of 453 prizes per location per day (estimating the mailed entries as 3/100 of a 'park', since, afaik, entries are drawn once a month).

There are 57,125 total Epcot Dream FastPasses (i.e. distributed only at Epcot), and 95,970 for each of the other Orlando parks (ditto on the distribution).

This works out to 125 Dream FastPasses at Epcot each day, and 210 at each of the three other parks.

VERY long-winded way of demonstrating why I'm not surprised at ALL that Guests - especially those visiting right now - don't see any winners :teeth:

*calculations are for the original YoaMD promotion only and do not include whatever will be done in 2008
