It was.......ok.
We saw the 1:00 show at the DCU in Worcester (Whista), MA.
My biggest complaint was the seating. They used about 3/4 of the arena with the end blocked off by the stage and the big curtain for the backstage area. Our seats were on the floor...$$$$...which happened to be on top of the floor that was on top of the ice. Folding chairs....uncomfortable folding chairs. And since there was no elevation, we had to keep moving our heads so we could see through all the people who were in front of us (about 20 rows) The people on the side, in regular seats, were better off because their seats were elevated. Here I thought we were getting a better deal because we paid more for the tickets. Oh well...
The show itself was ok - really geared towards kids. Two magicains named Brad & Benny kept us entertained during costume and stage changes. They were enthusiastic and good performers.
Characters included Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Mad Hatter, Alice, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Jacques, Gus, Snow White, Evil Queen, Belle, Gaston,Jasmine...did I get them all??
It was a 90 minute show with about a 15 minute intermission. Kids (7 & 12) thought it was ok but not real great. Glad we saw it, but it is not a show I would see again. We have liked all the Disney ice shows we have seen and this different type of show will be added to our list.
Has anyone else seen it??
