My thoughts exactly! And they seemed to get worse AFTER Christmas. I worked behind the Customer Service counter doing returns, and on December 26, it was always much crazier there than on black Friday. People get all grumpy when the holiday's over because maybe they didn't get everything they wanted or spent too much or whatever. Never had a customer cuss me out, though. I did think a woman was going to hit me once because I couldn't give her a cash refund for something paid for with a credit card. I felt really sorry for her infant son. She was a horrible woman.

I'm so glad you said something, mudnuri. I'm sure the employee was grateful to you for speaking up. I know I would have been.

Way to go! I would have done the same thing and have in the past.

We went to a very quiet mall about 1pm on Friday. It was literally empty. We went into KB and they still had the special signs up with every special still there. I asked if they would still honor the early bird prices even though we were late birds. They said yes but don't tell anyone. If he had said no, I would have just said thank you anyway and went on my merry way. We saw some agressive drivers that day too. I really think the holidays bring out the worst in some people.

I don't know why, but shopping this time of year does bring out the worst in some people I got yelled at twice last night- once by a woman who was mad because I wouldn't let her use her boyfriend's ATM card to pay for something, and once by a woman who wanted the person who received the sweater she was paying half price for to get full price for when they returned it -she actually said to me " I don't want them to get back what I paid for it-I want them to get full price!" ....spoken in the true spirit of giving
