Saw Duran Duran last night!

Last night Duran Duran played at the Cleveland Agora and it was awesome! All five original members are back together and look and sound great. It was a small venue and a sold out general admission show. I was apprehensive about the general admission part since I've never been to one before. My boyfriend knew the layout of the venue and when the doors were opened, he immediately whisked me upstairs into the balcony where we found front row seats. I was so happy to have greats seats and to not have to stand on the floor (I get clastorphobic sometimes and that floor got crowded). They sang most of the hits and a couple of new songs. If you get the chance to see them, I would highly recommend it!

Oh how AWSOME!!!! I'd LOVE to see that... they are one of my all time favorites... I wonder if they will be around here at all? Hmmm... maybe there is a web site I can check. John Taylor was always my favorite... and he still looks GREAT!

I wondered how the concert went. I know that the venue in Cleveland was a special treat since they don't usually play in such small places. I was listening to the radio yesterday trying to win tickets to last night's performance. Sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for the review.

Ooh, how cool! We're driving 5 hours to Atlanta a week from today to see them!! I'm kind of nervous about the general admission, too, but I can't wait!

I am so jealous! I absolutely loved Duran Duran when I was in High School and I remember seeing them at the Worchester Centrum way back then...I was in Heaven because we had 2nd row center and it was a great performance!

Good for you, I do hope they come here soon, I would love to see them!

How awesome! They were my favorite, and I was in love with John Taylor! I saw Power Station once, and I saw Duran Duran once with just the 3 original members. I would love to see them all together again.

RATS! You people are making me jealous. They are coming to New Orleans in two weekends and I'm going to miss it....whaaaa! But its for a good cause, I'm going to see my Tigers play in Oxford.
Funny story about John Taylor. I had a friend meet him and Simon at a hotel pool in New Orleans. Up until that point she was in love with John, but could not talk to him because....ready for this....she said he had ugly feet!

Very cool. I liked them way before they became well known! When DH and I first met(well, he was not DH at the time , we were still teenagers!) we talked about how we liked the Rio album. Was an ice breaker for us.
