Saw Clint Eastwood last evening

The former mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea was at his resort: the Carmel Mission Ranch. After we had dinner with friends, we drove through the Ranch and standing there, talking to someone, was Clint Eastwood. We've been to Carmel many times, but have never spotted him. So, there he was at his resort. Our friend, who was driving, worked there very brefly, so knew he was talking to his Catering Manager. And dang it, I didn't have my cellphone camera ready! (really didn't even think we'd see him).

His resort is an historic property that he bought to save it from being developed as condos. It's just a stone's throw from the Carmel Mission.
