This summer's movies were not bad at all, compared to last year.

Yesterday we saw "Igby goes down". Boy, that was a great movie. Very dysfunctional, not for everyone's taste. (Esp. if you have kids). But it's very well written. Great ensemble. I was very surprised. Well worth my $10.

I'm also waiting for Disney's "Spirited Way" next week. Roger Ebert says it's this year's best movie. I always love that animator's work (I forgot his name). The same guy who did Laputa, Princess Monoko, and Totoro. Totoro is one of my all time fav.

Return to Neverland is great. Sorry I never get to see anything other than rated G.

I saw the Power Puff Girl Movie - Yuck, but DD sat through the whole thing. It was her first theater movie.

I finally got around to seeing The Bourne Identity last weekend. I really enjoyed it. I am currenetly waiting for The Four Feathers next weekend. The original is a classic, so I'm anxious to see how this version stacks up :)

We rented A BEAUTIFUL MIND last week.................OUTSTANDING :) :) :) :) .........

My Big Fat Greek Wedding still ranks at the top of my list. :teeth:

I thought "A Beautiful Mind" was an incredible movie!

I enjoyed Signs. But then with Mel Gibson in it, it couldn't lose! :teeth:

My Big Fat Greek Wedding!! Saw it just this weekend with my 16 year old DD. Loved it!

We just saw Signs tonight. I have no fingernails left, but I really liked the movie.

Last movies I rented were Gosford Park (snooze) and A Beautiful Mind (this was the second time I've seen it, I loved this movie and was so impressed with Russell Crowe's acting ability, even though I don't care for his real life persona).

BFG wedding was awesome!! And i saw red violin on dvd. normally i'm not into this kind of movie, but it was amazing! You ahve to see it!!

I really enjoyed The Bourne Identity but, my favorite movie of the summer would have to be a tie between Signs & My Big Fat Greek Wedding. They are 2 very different kinds of movies but I loved them both.

"One Hour Photo"............Robin Williams is terrific, as usual.

"A Beautiful Mind" is quite good, although much of what is in the book is left out in the movie.

We're supposed to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding Tuesday night...glad to hear all the good reviews!

I can't wait to see MBFG Wedding. We bought "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" for my mom and watched it with her and dad- it was a riot! I can't wait to see it again!

Saw Signs last week. It was okay. My friend said it would have been better without the alien storyline....(don't ask).

Rented Monster's Ball last night. Very unusual and I wasn't certain if I liked it. But after sleeping on it, I have decided it was a great movie. I usually reserve judgement on a movie until it has a chance to settle in my brain.

It kept popping up in my mind today. Very thought provoking.

Red Violin was an incredible movie. It was subtitled but I loved it anyway!
