saw a short Les Mise'rables trailer yesterday

I saw the trailer before "Snow White and the Huntsman".

The 90 second clip of Les Mis was about 600 times better than the 127 minutes of the show we paid to see.

Looking forward to Russel Crowe's performance as Javert.

The Anne Hathaway trailer has been online for awhile. I also caught it during the Tonys.

I can't wait! I hope it's a good film.

Although, if you want a good laugh, (meaning no disrespect to his fans), hunt up the Neil Diamond version of I Dreamed a Dream.

Excited and apprehensive about seeing it at the same time. I will struggle with Colm Wilkinson only playing the Bishop, he is Jean Valjean.

I've seen Les Mis three times, I am torn about seeing the movie. I looooooooove it in the stage, I just can't imagine a movie giving the same feel/emotion.

On a side note...as a Neil Diamond fan, yeah, he should have left Dreamed a Dream alone.

I saw the trailer, also before SWATH. I was a huge Les Mis fan in high school and college and I have my doubts about Anne Hathaway. But I am looking forward to it. I can remember saving up and planning the trip into the city to see it at 16, and then later seeing it in London as a college student, and later still being able to afford and have access to it post-college. The trailer brought back all those memories. I might be tempted to sport my late 80's off the shoulder Les Mis shirt, which screamed "I think I'm cool because I'm into theater".
