First of all, I'm biased. I love Christian Bale. It's a fact, my SO has accepted and learned to deal with it.

Having said that, I really enjoyed the movie. It was dark, but it was Batman, so that's a given. I had read somewhere that someone thought it was pushing the envelope for PG-13, but I don't think so. There's violence but you only see tiny bits of blood and Batman never kills anyone. Just not his style.

Anyway, I thought it was a good movie and I love Christian Bale.

Thank you and good night. ;)

I can't wait to see it!!!!

I love Christian Bale too. ;) Obviously

so my coworkers and I had a discussion the other day, and we couldn't keep all the "batmans" straight - so I hit up imdb and researched it.

1. Batman (89)
Michael Keaton, Jack Nicolson, Kim Basinger

2. Batman Returns (92)
Michael Keaton (ok - so HE did 2), Danny DeVito, Michelle Pfeiffer (catwoman)

3. Batman Forever (95) (best one in my opinion)
Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell

4. Batman and Robin (97)
George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Uma Thurman, Alicia Silverstone (Batgirl - heheh), Schwazzeneggar

honestly - I REALLY enjoy Batman Forever and Batman and Robin...I dunno...I LIKED the campy-ness of them. (Batman and Robin I guessed tanked at the theater). This new one seems so different. being that I liked the last 2...think I'll like this one as well?

god I haven't watched these movies in years...

There's certainly nothing campy about it. I just read a review on Yahoo that was complaining that it was too serious and Christian Bale wasn't all that great (the horror!) because he was too serious. Considering the storyline, I don't know what they were expecting, but oh well.
