I reached the goal, but my price breakdown was a little wacky. I had a few hundred left over and spent it. thanks for the encouragement

Good for you! I wish you much luck and strength. It's hard to save up for things when you see other things that you want. But it's all the more worth it when you reach your goal.

Good luck! :wizard:

Good luck! Working so hard to save that money will no doubt make your trip that much more satisfying!

Good for you! What a great goal - it will be worth it! Especially since you are working so hard at saving up:)

Way to go! You're doing better than I am! So far only $200 and we're going in Oct. of this year! I'd better get busy! :rolleyes1

wow that is great...

Have you thought about signing up for a rewards program ??

*i'm not promoting one, just asking*

I am saving up my money to go to Disney World because my parents refuse to take me, but my dad says he will come with if I buy my ticket and hotel room and plane ticket. I just thought I would let you guys on the DISBoards know how it is going.
I need to save $2000 and that will approximately cover the cost of the ticket and the hotel room. So far I have 547 dollars. I made a chart the :goodvibes means i have made that much!

Why does it cost that much? Your dad should be splitting the room with you.
If not 600-700 for room. 250 air. 400 ticket. What is your breakdown?

Goodluck.. How old are you? That has to be hard to do at any age!
LOL! I agree that you are thinking high. Our trip for 3 with air and dining plan for 5 nights, base ticket is 2200. We are staying at a value hotel, but they are great, and if you want to get there sooner, I would go for one of them.
Does your dad know you are saving? He's in for a surprise!

What about if you get free dining you may be able to go before you expect! Or if you get a great code! What time of the year were you palnning on going? Any particular? Or just when you have saved enough?
