OMG, I am SOOO psyched! We purchased season passes late '06 that we are going to activate in April when we go down. Shortly after we bought them, I thought, "Huh...wouldn't it be nice if just DH and I could go and do the "Adult" things (Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, Rock 'n Roller Coaster) without having to do the child swap (our munchkins are only 4). I presented this idea to him and he agreed it would be cool... Ok, I know...Disney is a very different experience with the little ones. I get that, but...I also think it's important to spend some alone time with the spouse and the last long weekend we took was awesome. So, when to go??? Since we're going several times this year that was a tough call. Didn't want to go in July/Aug...TOO HOT, TOO many people. May seemed just too close to when we just got back. Ok, how about June? EARLY June that is. While FLA and other Southern type schools are out, I know a lot of Northern schools (i.e. NJ) are still in session. So, off the inner travel agent in me went to find deals.

Airfare-$230 for both of us R/T on Southwest....SWEET!!!
Hotel-PopCentury resort using AMEX points that have been racking up!...AWESOME!
CAR--$0...that's what transpo & Magical Express are for...This one might be tough for me, but I'll get over it...not in a rush anyway!
Mom/Dad watching the kids and zoo (dogs/cats) we have...WHOO HOO!

Being able to go and spend time with just your hubby....PRICELESS!!!

Us too !!!! We were just there two weeks ago. When we got home DH and I started planning where to go for an anniversary weekend. ( I bought an AP for this past trip so we could qualify for the room discount that was out at that time.) So we started discussing how much fun it would be to go just for the weekend, adults only. NOW we're going !!  Our first ever adults only trip to WDW !

I did a trip with just DH and I this past September...I had the most AMAZING time and we can't wait to do it again...Sure it's fun with the kids---but no hands to hold and no sore feet, whining, extra people to feed--it was AWESOME!

:) I can't wait ! I love my kids more than anything and have a great time with them, but I love getting away with my DH. Of course, my DDs are fussing about how it's not fair that we're going to WDW without them. ;)

LOL...Mine are 4 and won't understand (nor will we really be TELLING them) that we're going to WDW without them. Just that Mommy and Daddy are going away for a few days and Mom/Mom & Pop/Pop will be watching them.

Last year, we did a 3-night anniversary cruise and it was awesome for it to just be us. Can't wait to spend some alone time again. And as a previous poster mentioned...I LOVE my kids to pieces, but not having to do baby swap, rush to find a bathroom for a potty break, late-afternoon whining because of no nap...that will be nice for a few days.
