We brought frozen water bottles and juice boxes, and cans of pop (delivered from Albertsons) each day. At first we only brought water because we thought we might be hassled for bringing in pop, but when we did no one questioned in the slightest. Each lunch and dinner we often split the meal and shared a pop or two.

Another good tip is if you can't stand the taste of water from the water fountains, take a Crystal Light single packets with you and add it to the bottle. You can get a free cup of ice from any counter service restaurant if you find the water isn't cold enough, but I use the above poster's method or keeping our water bottles cool as well!

just an fyi...in the first aid building they have a water fountain that filters its water and it is very cold and good...you can bring your water bottles in there and fill them up no charge
