saving change!

so ive been saving my change and dollar bills for a couple of months..and just added them all up.......the grand total is....157.60 so far ! and im not going to disney for 3 months, so im gonna have enough to cover my airfare and food and spending money..
my parents are going to pay for rooms and money from xmas from the grandparents will pay for the parkhoppers ....so i wont have to dip into the savings account!
i love saving change !!!

I always save all my change. If the bills is 1.02..I give them 2.00 and pocket the change...I never give an exact amount. In less then 1 year I saved enough change to pay for our hotel and 1 adult park hopper for Disney.

everyone at the stores always get mad at me, asking for change--and i insist i dont have any! ..everything goes right in the jar..

A good way to save for your special trip!

I have a gallon jar that I have been pitching change in for a few
years.....it's only half full, but it's heavy. I have no idea how much I have in it. One of these days I'll have to count it.

I love saving change. I save all my change(actual change, not dollar bills...although that's a good idea) for trips. When I cash mine in I use it to buy magizines, some snacks, drinks, or what ever. I usually will net around $90. Although the last time I cashed mine in I was seriously running out of money and needed it to buy food.

I save change too and it is amazing how fast it all adds up!

I work retail and have convinced the folks in the cash office of the store to save me all the dollar coins that come in. When I work I cash them all out and into the change jar they go. I currently have $250 in rolled dollar coins alone, and that is not counting all the other change. I use it for all my trips to WDW and usually the change is enough for my spending money while there.

I saved change since last spring. I also picked up quite a bit at all the yard sales I did. Counted it out last week and I had $77! It went right into my House Hunting Trip fund.

We just counted our change jug the other night- and our total came up to $603 and a bit more.

I've been saving change and $1s since January, and if I keep going at this rate- I just might be able to pay for half of our hotel stay at Christmas with it!!!

Before our last Disney trip I saved all my change for about a month. My four children got $20 extra disney dollars each for their spending money. It wasn't much, but it sure was to them.

Right when we got home, we started again and will use it for our next trip...whenever that is...
