If you happen to have purchased an Entertainment Book from a student, look in the hotel section and find a great surprise with a 1/2 price coupon at the Swan and Dolphin. We just got back from WDW and had a great room at the Dolphin...7th floor - East wing - Epcot view...for $30 extra per night, we upgraded to a balcony room...it was worth it.

Plus, the boats to MGM & Epcot were the best way to get to our favorite parks. The Boardwalk is a simple walk. You can also hoof it to or from MGM & Epcot if you don't want to wait for a boat. But, the waits are minimal. From MGM, the Dolphin is the first stop. Not quite so convenient from Epcot as the boat stops first at the Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club before the Dolphin.

I'll write up a trip report when I catch my breath, we had a blast...and don't fret over no EE. They were totally unnecessary as there were very short lines. The longest we waited anywhere was maybe 15 to 20 mins at the Tower of Terror.

That's good to know, sounds like you got a great rate :)

The Entertainment card and the Disney Club card also offer the same discount if you do not have the coupon!

We stayed at the Swan in June 2001 and we loved the hotel!!! The location was perfect!!! The kids loved the Grotto pool!! Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the Dolphin and we had a balcony too! It was another wonderful visit to Disney!!!

By the way, I had gotten a government employee discount!
