Saving accounts?

Couldn't we all use one of those! Actually, rates suck all the way around so finding a "high" interest rate might only be 2%. Check out www.bankrate.com for the latest rates, etc.

I use ING, which when the economy was better had an interest rate of 5%... Now it's closer to 1.5%, but I still like the site's ease of use and the fact that I can have multiple accounts (Christmas, savings, Emergency fund, etc.)

i have an ing too. the rates keep dropping but it is wayyyy higher than my other savings account with my bank. plus the website is very easy to use and its rewarding to see on the top of the page how much you earned that month, that year etc. i find my savings account is vital even if i dont get much interest because well, out of checking account, out of spending range lol.

I have an online savings account with DanversBank...check out www.danversbank.com. The account is free and there is no minimum and the interest rate is 1.5% which is one of the highest ones I've found.

Another plug for ING. The site is easy to use and set-up is also easy. The rate as of friday was 1.3% not great but still better than your traditional savings accounts.

I alos like the feature to have multiple accounts(we have 4 accounts underthe same main account.

I have an Umbrella Bank and an ING
both are online
I think online savings is the BEST. So easy to save that way. It makes me happy to check my balances and see our nest egg growing

I use Ally Bank (used to be GMAC). I've had ING and HSBC and like Ally much better. Transactions are faster. Right now it's paying 1.8% I also have a money market account there and it's paying1.7%. The money market account comes with a debit card and checks. It usually offers CD's at a pretty good rate as well.

Another ING user, it's easy to use and like others have said, you can have mulitple accounts.

I'm with ING also..Others may have higher rates right now, but I really don't want to rate chase. I really like ING and they now own Sharebuilder which is who I use to buy stocks.
