Savi lightsaber noise when “ dueling “

Lol so I just bought one of these and made it. Power one, red crystal

I just noticed when I am moving it around like I’m dueling with someone, it kinda makes a noise and changes colors slightly as if another light saber is hitting it like in the movie.

is this normal or do I need to bring it to be fixed. Only happens when literally spinning it around as if I’m dueling someone lol

Probably a flash on clash feature. A lot of third party sabers do that as well to simulate the effect from the movies when dueling, so I suspect Disney included this as well.

My son‘s legacy one does the same. Makes cool noises and has little flashes of red (he has a green one). Pretty sure it’s normal.

I was just about to ask if Savi hand built lightsabers are suppose to have duel/ clash sound effects. Mine does not have ANY clash or dueling effects. Granted I haven’t dueled with anyone else with a lightsaber but it only makes the standard light saber sound when moving around ( usually with a delayed reaction). The blade lights up fine.

I have tapped the blade against my hand a few times ( with different levels of force light to moderate) to see if duel effects would active. Sadly they don’t….. not sure if mine is defective or not. I just built mine like a week ago too.

Try swinging it hard and stoping it as if you just hit another saber. Do it a few times in a row non stop
