So today I was wandering my local thrift outlet and found 6 old Disney records. I thought they'd be neat to frame and hang up, but as cash out the cashier said she nearly bought them thinking they may have some value. Was wondering if anyone knew anything about these old Disney records?!

They seem to all be from the 60s and a few include the story book along with the record.

1- The Little Toot an other sailor songs with chip n dale

2- Winnie the Pooh and the blustery day.

3-Mary Poppins

4- Bedknobs and Broomsticks

5- Brer Rabbit

6- and another little 33 1/3 with 4 songs on it

I think these are so neat just wondering if anyone could give me some info!

Is the Winnie the Pooh album narrated by Carol Channing by any chance? A few months ago my roommate (who works in a used record store) found that one in a box of vinyl that came in, and he's not even a big Disney fan but he snatched it up purely because he loved the fact that there was a storybook album narrated by Carol Channing, lol. He only paid $1, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth more than that. My roommate is older than all the managers at the store, and whenever any vinyl comes in they tend to just mark it all as $1 without actually taking the time to look at any of it. My roommate has come home with some valuable vinyls (some Beatles and Pink Floyd, to name a few) that the young folk in management just tossed aside.

Thrift shops can be a great place to find Disney memorabilia. Recently some friends of mine who know I'm a Disney enthusiast were in one and picked me up two large very vintage looking refrigerator magnets for Splash Mountain and Frontierland, as well as a Disney pin from the Walt Disney World 25th anniversary celebration.

That's really neat. I grabbed them just because they were neat, they charged me a dollar total!

I can't decide if I should just frame them or what! I'd love to just know some more about them. The Pooh one has the voice of pooh as one Person and the narrator another it's pretty neat comes with the read along story.

Millions of copies of those records were pressed. They really aren't worth any money at all. Their only real value lies in the fun you have listening to them.

I recently found a handful of records at a local antique shop for $4 each. Snow White, Lady and the Tramp, Aristocats, and Pinocchio to name a few. I ended up purchasing Snow White and the Aristocats and have loved displaying them in my room! Not sure about about the value, though.
