Just got back from WDW on 11/13. We arrived on 11/6. First stop was FL mall TDS.
Purchased 4 adult 4 day passes. Got $200 converted into DD. We had 2 children with us but it was $9 cheaper to buy them adult passes and get the $50 back. Ididn't bother to convert the passes cause we don't go very often and I'm lazy.
Also did our goodie shopping at the Disney Outlet in Belz S/C. It was worth the drive out there. We checked at the outlet in BV. That was missable. The DD's got goodies for their friends, we all got t-shirts and stuff. Very nice.

We cut down on our food spending on-site by meal sharing, bringing snacks. We certainly didn't go hungry.

That was a great deal you recieved.

How far a drive was the mall from WDW? We're staying at the Dolphin and I don't know if I should purchase my tickets at Disney or go off site. If I can still get your discount and the drive isn't too bad, I'll do that.

I believe it's about 20 minutes or so from the Dolphin. They'll have a direction sheet printed up for the Florida Mall. The Disney Store is near the food court.
You may want to check and see if the outlet in Belz S/c has passes. It's a little closer and has good deals to boot.
I'm pretty sure the deal lasts until the end of Nov. Call TDS and ask.
You can use the Disney Club card for 10% off too (if you have one)

the outlet store does not carry "passes" at least the last time we were there they did not....

I did exactly the same thing as you, but on Nov. 3. Stopped at TDS at the Florida Mall, bought my 4 adult 4 day park hoppers, got my free t-shirts (2kds 2adults), Got my 4 - $50 GC, and used them to buy $200.00 Disney dollars. But I went one step further. Stopped at Guest Relations in Downtown Disney the next day and exchanged 2 of the adult 4 day hoppers for 2 childrens 5 day hoppers with 2 pluses. This transaction cost me an additional $10.
My kids now have a day and 2 pluses left over that never expire. This worked out to be a terrific savings for us. Thank you Disney for this promotion!

I bought 10 of the 5 day hoppers and converted 6 of the $50 gift cards into 300 DD with no problem on 11/10/01. I asked while there when this promo ended and was told 11/24/01.

Our towncar driver knew excactly where it was and even which door was nearest the food court. He even stated to us when he picked us up for our return flight home that he went ahead and got some.

I think the free T-shirt is really cool.

Just back from a wonderful week at OKW. Promo on buying tickets is over. I
called as soon as we got there on the 18th and they had stopped the promo.
Just wish we could have taken advantage of it also.
