Just thought I would let you know of a potential way to save some money if interested.
I had to pay the balance of our holiday last week
which wasn't cheap as we are staying at AKL and Wilderness Lodge as a treat and figured there must be a way to benefit from parting with my hard earned.
I worked out from shopping around that Thomas Cook charge 2% for a credit card payment, capped at £50, however American Express will give you 3% cash back at the moment for new customers on certain credit cards. Net saving of £90 for us
Obviously we will clear the CC bill as soon as it comes in only drawback is I have to wait 12 months for the £90 to be credited to my AMEX account...oh well, can't have everything!
