Say Good Bye to some of your favorite Characters and one heck of a popular show.
Effective September 5, the following street atmosphere characters will be "discontinued" from Universal Studios Florida (which, in turn, means several performers are out of a job):
IOA -
Boris & Natasha
Dr. Doom
Green Goblin
USF -
Barney & Betty Rubble
Doc Brown
Men in Black agents
USF Shows -
Wild Wild West Stunt Show.
Since the park opening most of these characters have been pleasing tourists and locals entering in and out the park every single day, the actors bring smiles to childrens faces and keep the park go'ers entertained throughout the hot weather and the long que's.
This is very saddening not just for us but, especially for the actors portraying these characters who were blind-sided with the news today (8th of August 2003)
This petition is to save the actors and the characters and of course the Wild Wild West Stunt Show, because as of September 5th 2003 all that will be left of them is memories.
If any of the USF characters have touched your heart and made your visit one to remember, or if you love the jokes and excitement of the Wild West Stunt Show. Or even if you haven't been to Universal yet and want to perserve this show and these characters so that you too can experience the true wonders that Universal had to offer, please join us in signing this petition
