save the dates

Does Disney require that they send out save the dates or can you do it?

I did both - the ones that disney does are really nice - my guests loved them!

We sent out our own Save the Dates once we knew our date and gave some preliminary information about the date, some references for books that help for people who were not as familiar with Disney, and let them know the Disney version was coming with information on hotel specials, that we would provide wedding transportation, etc.

Does Disney send out save the dates for intimates?

We simply asked our SM if she would send us Disney's save the dates so that we could combine what we wanted to send out with what they offered. SHe was happy to help and we recieved a big fedex box of save the dates.

sessoms_sc: I think that's cool and I'm going to ask to do the same thing. I didn't like the idea of Disney sending save the dates to my guests..It kind of looks like they are just interested in people booking a room and not coming to my special day!
