I know Disney sends "Save the Dates", but I also want to send a Save the Date Magnet to each of my guests.

Has anyone done this....any suggestions on who to buy them from?

I did not order my STD magnets as I'm having an Intimate with less than 20 guests. I used magnetic paper and a graphic made by a DISer on the Creative Boards. I printed them and cut them out very carefully, which took forever. I'm sure someone will come along with a suggestion on where to order from for you.

Here's a pic:

I was told to include my STD magnets with my contract and they would include them in their mailing.

I currently plan on using Impressions for my STD and invitations. There website is fairytalewedding.com

Hope this helps!

Since I knew the Save the Dates were going to be pretty generic I went ahead and sent packets with our first newsletter and detailed Disney travel information along with some magnets. I also just printed my using magnetic paper and then cut them out and attached to our folders. The design was done by someone on the Creative Board.

Here are the folders that we made... this picture is at a weird angle, but we cut slits and pockets and stuck in the magnets.

I know I'm not a Disney bride, but I ordered magnets from Vistaprint. I used one of their generic designs, but you can upload any (Disney!) design you want for a small fee. I think I paid about $8 for 100! You can google free vistaprint magnets and find those really easy. These were mine. Not bad for practically being free!

Did you have a coupon for that price? It's about $20 for 100 and they want $5 to upload the file

They look really nice

For those who want to make their own - Office Depot sells the business card sized magnets - pack of 100 for $20, pack of $50 for $13

Then you can buy the "print your own" Business Cards from Office Depot - the prices on these vary, but expect to spend at least $10 for a pack, then all you have to do is print up your own design on a color printer.

Woops. My fault! I went back and looked and I got 50. I keep confusing that. we have about 100 guests invited, but only about 50 invites/STDs. I looked and it is 25 for free, $7 for 50 and $22 for 100. There is no charge on this link to upload a photo though. I recommend the 1.50 pdf proof though. I was accidentally cutting some of my design off the first time!

They're actually on sale for that on the site right now as opposed to a coupon. They were full price when I ordered way back when so I found a discount. It was the same as what they are now though. FYI, the standard shipping says it's 21 days or something but it's not! Everyone that's ordered them that I know have received them in about a week!

I thought about printing them myself, but I figured it would cost me less than buying magnets and ink. The pack of 100 magnets is $20. It would cost way more than $2 in ink (compared to $22 from Vistaprint).

We got ours done by regards.com a lot of web sites had it but I found them to be the cheapest. We are going to send them out with our Engement party Thank yous.

Got them from vistaprint. We are having an intimate, so we got 20 of the magnets for free... just had to pay to upload the image and then shipping.
