Orlando Attractions Magazine just posted on their Facebook page that PUSH may be leaving the Magic Kingdom permanently with his last day being this Saturday!

We have so many fond memories of PUSH the talking trash can. My kids are going to be heartbroken if this is true.

Disney - please save PUSH! He is one of those magical extras that make your parks so special.

Okay, first of all, there's already a thread just a couple threads down on the main page.

And second of all, this is UNCONFIRMED. Just in case, I'm encouraging people to tweet and facebook to WDW with the hashtag #SavePUSH, but reactions and so forth are already in another thread.

What is happening over there? Are they just cutting anything that can serve some money? I'm starting to wonder what's next.

Sorry - didn't see the other post. My friends at the Magic Kingdom in Entertainment said it IS true or at least that is what they have been told and that PUSH is not on the schedule for next week.

PUSH has been at the Magic Kingdom for 19 years this month. :(

That is horrible and we all know who to thanks: FP+. When you spend 1.5 billion dollars on something and that pricetag continues to grow, you feel like you need to make cuts elsewhere. All I can say is that when I'm paying $494 for an AP, you sure as hell should try to maintain these types of experiences. Sorry, but I love PUSH.

I've read there may be more cuts in entertainment to help pay for the new day parade.

That and FP+, but mostly the ladder because it's gone so over-budget.

This is just the latest cut we've seen. Yesterday was the Zitti Sister, couple weeks ago was Miyuki, now PUSH. Who knows what's next?

Sweet baby Jesus in the manger...miyuki's been canned???

WTH is happening??

WHAT?!? I just spent some of the best 10 minutes of my trip last week having a great conversation with PUSH. We were right by the bridge in tomorrowland and ….we had a great time together!! So sad. It's these little enhancements to the World that make it special and unique and make for the magic of unexpected moments. So sad, but feeling blessed for my terrific interaction last week. I even got a hug from him…or…he asked for a hug and reciprocated as best as he could.

Enjoying some interaction with PUSH is keeping you from spending money in the shops and restaurants. That time you spend on the walkway is not making any money for the corporation or its shareholders.

Maybe they are replacing this stuff with new experiences, no one knows yet, to bring new stuff in, you need to remove the old stuff.

That is not how business works.... The FastPass+ and My Disney Experience will have their own separate budget from In park entertainment at Walt Disney World.

If FP+ and MDE are over budget, that money would not come out of WDW's budget alone. I will bet Disney plans to use FP+ and MDE at every park around the world, so why would WDW's budget be paying for it?

My guess, WDW is removing some of the older, stale experiences, to make room for new experiences in the future. Are we talking about next week future? no, but in a few months, for the summer? yes.

People complain Disney doesn't add anything new, but they also complain when they take stuff out, you can't have both.

As someone who has seen this process at Disneyland Paris, this is a cost cutting exercise. Plain and simple. Nothing to do with replacing with new entertainment, why would you have to get rid of a talking trashcan to get new entertainment in? Once things like this are cut, they dont come back! #Savepush

Sorry, not going to join in the outcry about this. Push was amusing, but a one-trick pony. pirate:

Oh sure. Push would account for what? .001% of the new day parade? :mic:
