Aug. 7 will be a happy and sad day at the same time to see www.savedisney.com officially close.

Yeah I just got this. I know they are joining back with the company. But that is in no way going to 100% save Disney by there standards. This must be part of the agreement. There was several bits of knowledge and useful facts that was given off of this page and I wish it wasn't going away.

My thinking exactly and for them to close the site this fast after the announcement. Makes me think it was more of a personal matter not whats best for Disney matter.

I'd have been made happy if SD had achieved what it set out to do... instead of getting punched in the mouth by a board of directors that let Eisner hand-pick his successor (and trust me, it's not like he'll actually be *gone* when he "steps down" in September)... WDC gets to have a "Disney" back in the fold without actually needing to give him any power whatsoever, and Stan Gold? Out in the cold.

So there could have been "making me happy"... if they'd succeeded. Oh well. Close, no cigar.
