Just wanted to share this. My wife and I just ordered quite a few gift certificates for our Disney trip and spent less than $15. She got the info HERE (one of her favorite websites she follows)

We have eaten at Kimonos and it is very good sushi. We were super excited to get a certificate for House of Blues since we have always wanted to try it. Check it out. It's a pretty good deal only valid today.

Yes, that brings you to restaurant dot com which with promo code WOW you get 90% off. I picked up a ton of printable GC's for my area restaurants. I have used them before and they are a great way to save $$.

I found a bunch of Disney places in there also. Garden Grove, Shula's ,Todd English, House of Blues and places not too far from property. Nice if you aren't on the DDP and want to have nice meals.

Just watch the restrictions (*a lot say 2 entree min purchase*). Still worth it.

Thanks Michelle! I saw the restrictions and some have different minimum purchase amounts too. We are really excited about House of Blues!! We actually ARE on the dining plan but just added two more nights with the room discount and are going to use these on those nights :thumbsup2

bit misleading on the title there...but I get what you mean:thumbsup2 it's 90% off a certificate, which usually covers 25.00 of a bill that has to be at least 35-50.00, so a cert. would cost maybe 2.50,plus the cost of the food after that, plus tax and tip on the entire bill(yes, they calculate an 18% on what it would have cost before you use the cert.) so it does save you like 22.00 off your bill.
A good way to decide if it will work for you is to look at the online menus and think about what your total order might run, then deduct that 22.00 and see if you like the deal!

Great Deal, but the web site must be swamped, I can't even get on right now. I'm gonna keep trying. Saving $24 on a $40 bill is awesome!

I use coupons from restaurant.com all the time. They work great, just used one Tuesday night in fact. :) Not at WDW or DL but here in my hometown at our favorite Thai place. :) Anyway, I can't recommend this site enough, I've never had any problems with the coupons and the service is great. :) Just watch the restrictions before you buy (I usually get a $25 coupon, these normally have a minimum purchase of $35-40) and you'll be fine.

So it's only 90% off a certificate that can go TOWARD your meal? Yeah, misleading subject line there. :)

Good grief--even if the title is a bit misleading ("90% off certificates at restaurant.com for some establishments near Disney, restrictions apply" might have pleased more people, it seems), it is still a GREAT deal.

Perhaps just a thank you to the OP?:goodvibes

Thanks for posting that--I ordered several for some of our favorite local places.

Thank you, OP!!! :teeth:

It took me five hours (!), but I got $116 of certificates - including some general certificates to be applied later (yes, it's allowed) for $11.60

I love the site; I buy certs from here to use locally. Just watch the restrictions and you won't have any problems.

It isn't really 90% off of the total but you can save some money. I've gotten close to saving 50% but that is about it.

I have used this site before but didn't know about the 90% deal. The best I have gotten is 80% so this even tops that! Thanks OP!

Yeah, this is only the second time I've seen 90% off; the first was November, maybe 2007? A few days longer than just the last day of the month :lmao: so the site wasn't quite so overloaded.

Your welcome everyone. I have to give props to my wife...she's the one that told me to post it LOL. Sorry I fubbed the title up! We actually ordered a few more tonight for an upcoming weekend trip!

The 90% off sale has been extended for one more day. They have it around once a year, usually around a "slow" dining time like now.

Thanks for pointing out that it's good for Kimonos, Shula, etc--we often get the restaurant.com GCs for places near us but hadn't realized that they have WDW ones! We'll be at the Beach Club in August and would love to do at least 1 of these places!

Last time they had 90% was on 9/9/09,I'm fairly certain it lasted a couple of days at 90 percent.

Thanks OP!! I wasn't able to get through yesterday, but they extended it so I bought a bunch today!!:thumbsup2

I use Rest.com regularly because my have a VACUUM cleaner for a teenaged son and we can get a LOT of food on a discount. :cool1:

I've used them for years but love using them locally at an Italian restaurant in my neighborhood. You can only use them at the same establishment once a month so the guy knows we'll be there like clockwork, every month! :lmao: This place has no table service so no tip, it makes it a much better deal. :thumbsup2
