Savannah view rooms?

What is your favorite savannah to view and why? We are going in July and I want to hear from anyobe as to what savannah view room to request.

Well, we have been twice to AKL and plan to go back this Dec.
We have only stayed with one "view" the Arusha Savannah (ea. time)
They are all very beautiful and each have specific animals...
You will not be disppointed with any choice (I don't think)
There are viewing areas throughout the resort for each of the Savannahs.

My suggestion would be... Ask for a room near the lobby. This may limit you to the Arusha Savannah (not sure). However, because the resort is so HUGE, hiking to your room can become quite the task!

Our first visit we were located at the end of the horseshoe with the Arusha Sav. view which was WONDERFUL!!! But, the trip to the pool, food, etc. was so exhausting (which is the last thing that you need after a day at the park)!

The last visit we asked for a room close to the lobby and WOW what a difference that made!! The Animal viewing was still very good and even the "people" viewing at Arusha Rock can be quite entertaining as well!

Sunset Savannah - It is the only one to have Red River Hogs - They are just the cutest, most full of personality little guys you could ever hope to see!

I've been on the Arusha Savanna 2 times and Uzima once; the Arusha is definitely the best, IMO because of the zebras, ankole cattle, the dramatic sweep across to the other side of the resort and the Arusha Rock Overlook view~
