Savannah view for visually impaired

Hi,

We are staying at AKL Savannah view in June. My 9 year old son is visually impaired. He can't see things well that are at a long distance. I would like to know what is the closest floor and AKL wing to the animals. I really want to make sure he can see as much as he can. Also, do I request a floor and savannah when I get there or call ahead? Thanks.

You should call back whomever you booked your reservation with and let them know about your sons visual impairement and request that you be given a room on he 2nd floor due to this. Disney is very good with accomindating requests due to medical issues. Also, I would request a view of the Arusha Savanna. You should make these types of requests when you make your reservation.
