Saturn vs Honda?

Hubby has a Saturn VUE. I have a Honda CR-V. Hubby loves his VUE, I love my CR-V.

Sooooo - the answer is ...................either one! They're both great cars!

Since you brought up safety, we were looking at the Honda Accord EX-L, 4 door, yesterday. I was very surprised that although the front passenger safety was rated at a 5 star, its rear passenger safety was only a 3 star.

I don't know if this is true of all sedan Hondas, or just because it was a 4 door vs. 2 door.

Still a beautiful and from what I hear a very reliable car.

Thanks for that info! Very interesting to read the safety ratings, that's a big issue with me, since I want to keep DS as safe as possible!

We just bought a Honda Pilot and we LOVE IT! We had been Pontiac owners in the past and had nothing but BAD things happen to them.

I would suggest a Honda CRV if you want a small SUV. They are very sharp and the price is right too!! We have 3 kids so we went with the bigger SUV....the HONDA PILOT! BUT we also loved the CRV! PLUS we have had nothing but WONDERFUL experiences with the HONDA customer service so far!!!

If I were you I would go with a HONDA ....HANDS DOWN!! GOOD LUCK with your choice

I will suggest Honda. I've known 4 people to own a Saturn, 3 of which ended in dissapointment (one had the transmission fail at almost 60k miles, though Saturn was great about replacing it). Of course, this is a very small percentage of people, so I certainly have a narrow view. But I never have met a dissapointed Honda owner. They are, on average, a more expensive car to purchase.
