Saturday Sept 16 Crowd update

Hey all, went to AK and Mk on Saturday..observed a few wait times for the boards

We started off the AK:

@ 9:30 am Everest had a 20 minute wait, @ 10:30 am Everest had a 30 minute wait
@ 10:00am Dinosaur was a walk-on

Went over to the MK (between 11:00am-2:30pm)
I have to admit when I saw the parking lot, I was discouraged and thought we'd have a long wait...while there were tons of people, the waits were pretty much ok

Space Mountain: 5-10 minute wait (haven't seen this in a while!)
Thunder Mountain: 10 minute wait
Splash Mountain: 25 minute wait (Get a fastpass! We did and had our own log!)
Haunted Mansion: 10 minute wait
Pirates of the Caribbean: 20 minute wait

What I observed but we didn't ride:
Space Ranger Spin: 20 minute wait
Winnie the Pooh: 30 minute wait
Snow White: 10 minute wait
Philharmagic: Walk-on
Peter Pan's Flight: 30 minutes
Small World: 10 minutes

The food places seemed pretty packed around 12:30.

The lines were fantastic! We just got back yesterday from a 9/9-9/16 stay. I think the longest we waited for anything was 10 minutes!! And I think that was for Jungle Cruise!!!

Just back last week.
What I also noticed is if they say 30 min wait, it was often actually much shorter.

Good info. I appreciate when folks share the actual wait times instead of saying it was "crowded" or it was "slow". Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! We'll be there next week (Sept 22nd-39th) and were hoping the crowds would be low.

Why is Peter Pan so busy at this time of year?

It was our longest wait in Sept 2004 - about 40 minutes (posted 20)!!! And we walked on to BTMR, had about a 20 min wait for Splash, and even ToT and RnR were walk ons.

It was our longest wait in Sept 2004 - about 40 minutes (posted 20)!!! And we walked on to BTMR, had about a 20 min wait for Splash, and even ToT and RnR were walk ons.

Peter Pan always has one of the longest wait times in MK.

Two main reasons:
1. Popularity
2. Even more of a factor is capacity and cycle times
