Saturday moring buffet suggestion?

Our last day at WDW has traditionally been a buffet breakfast on Saturday morning at Chef Mickey. We are thinking of changing things up a little but haven't decided where... and could use some help. We have narrowed it down to:

• Boma - Animal Kingdom Lodge
• 1900 Park Faire - Grand Floridian
• Chef Mickey - Contemporary Hotel
• Cape May Cafe - Beach Club Hotel

Which of this list would you choose and why?

We are a family of 3 adults and 2 teenagers.

DH and I love to finish off our vacation with Chef Mickey....The food selection is large, the atmopshere is fun and it is great to see Mickey and the gang one last time before heading back home!

Cape May is nice because it is very relaxing and the buffet is large.

1900 is way too babyish for teenagers and the buffet selection is not as big as the others.

Cape May cafe is a great choice, usually where we gather for our last breakfast.

We did Cape May Cafe as our final breakfast last year and it was great. So that's how I voted. Hope you have a wonderful time no matter where you decide to dine.

I think foodwise, with the quality of food being the most important factor, Boma and the Cape May Cafe are your best choices. If you want characters, do the Cape May... if not, I would do Boma. We love both places. I do think Boma is just a tid bit better.

Both are better than 1900 park fare and Mickey's. IMHO.

We are trying Boma for the first time this trip. We have done Chef Mickeys in the past and really liked it. This time we wanted to try something different and Boma looks to have a little bit of everything. This is one of the meals that we are most excited about, we are doing both breakfast and dinner.

One section of the Boma buffet has some african breakfast items. They also make delicious omelets made-to-order. Can't say enough good things

Does Boma have things like bagels and lox and cream cheese as well? Haven't seen that on the menus available on line.

there were bagels and cream cheese...do not think there was lox...that is a rare item at a buffet.

We like Cape May Clambake the best out of choices, running close second Boma.

Grand Fla. buffet only for dinnner, breakfast not so great, character were very good though.

Believe it or not I have never eaten at Chef Mickey in 8yrs. I have been visiting WDW.

There is nothing better than getting into MK before the park opens to have a last breakfast before heading home. You can savor the quiteness of MK before everybody else arrives. It is truely magical!

Chef Mickey's has had lox every year for as long as I can remember. Nova... not the really salty variety.

That is why I was asking... I was wondering if it was a standard item on breakfast buffets.

But that requires a park entry... I wasn't planning to hit the park on a day where I was leaving Orlando area by 1PM... it's a long drive to NJ!

Boma is our favorite breakfast buffet by far (we're eating there twice this visit!!).

I don't understand why a PP would think 1900 park fare is too babyish but Chef Mickey's isn't? We preferred the food at 1900 over CM's for breakfast, but 1900 tends to be a bit disorganized.

Cape May is our favorite character buffet, but Boma definitely has the best food. If we're going to get a bagel, we just do a QS breakfast. We like to pack it away at buffets and skip lunch.

We'd definitely pick Boma - there's a lot of variety, the frunch is yummy, and its just nice and relatively low-key. AKL is nice to walk around a little and see the animals, too, so I think the whole experience would be a nice end to a vacation if you don't want to go back into the parks.

(Our usual last day ends at 1:00p.m., too. We usually use ME and fly, so we usually check our bags, go to a normal breakfast, get in a few last rides at MK and EPCOT, eat lunch, then head back to the hotel to pick up our bags and then meet the ME.)

My assumption was that you had a length of stay pass. OOPS!

We have AP's so we love to spend a few hours in MK before we head home and before the crowds rolll in. Makes for wonderful memories.

Sadly, no Annual pass. We have a 7 day pass but it is all used up!.... so it's off to the hotels for us!

I have eaten at all of these locations and I believe that Boma has the best selection for breakfast buffets. The other thing is that you can step outside to view the animals on the savannah as well. Either one of these is a good choice with lots of food selections but I always enjoy Boma for breakfast.

We loved 1900 but mainly because the Mad Hatter was hilarious! I did do Cape May this past Christmas and it was good and enjoyable--our waiter and Donald obviously had a love-hate relationship.

Have you considered 'Ohana at the Poly? It's not a buffet but they will bring out as much food as you want. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.
