It came really quickly! It was only a couple of days ago that my brother's GF mentioned that there was a Saturday Job available for me at her workplace, and now thanks to her talking to her boss I now have an interview today! :scared1:

No idea if i'll take the job or not as I am worried about doing lots of Labour intensive work (I'm a big fat weakling.. :rotfl: ) and I'm not sure if i'll be able to do the work they ask becuase of AS and all. As a matter of fact, the whole interview was done without much of my input at all!

Wish me luck for the interview; it's at 2.45 today. And there was me thinking I'd get to enjoy my pseudo-day off.. :guilty:

Hope it all goes well and it is just the right job for you!! :)

Good luck Matt :thumbsup2

Hope all goes well for you Matt :thumbsup2 Will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you :)

:wizard: :wizard: Good Luck Matt :wizard: :wizard:

You go for it, the experience will be great for you (and the dosh). My DD is hoping to look for a Saturday job when we come back off holiday in January :)

Agreed :thumbsup2

I had a saturday job during my sixth form and found it to be a valuable experience:
- great to have your own money
- DEFINITELY increased my personal confidence (was VERY shy) - I have to deal with the general public a lot
- Was fun and a I made quike a lot of friends
- Good to have responsiblity
- Not a bad thing to have on your CV (ok, the work was not directly relevant to ANY job that I have done since, but for your first job or two it shows that you aren't completely green...)

You would need to be organised about your school work, but - if you can do that - it WOULD be a very good experience :thumbsup2

Good luck Matt - really hope its what you want. Trying to get Ashley diagnosed on the spectrum so very worried about his future job prospects, at the end of the day, just be happy.

Just finished the Interview. As Far as I know, the interview went pretty well. The "Boss" is going to talk to his boss to see if they can afford to keep me on temporary pay. It could mean being unemployed later on, but meh. Money in the meantime is cool for me. :)

I was really nervous throughout! Even leaving I felt slightly scared to meet people around the yard; some people kept saying hello to me and all I could do is just about say hello back..

They asked a couple a questions and I answered with aplom. I should of asked for something but I forgot to.. :guilty: Oh well, I hope that didn't ruin it but otherwise I'm fine.

I'm not really bothered if I don't get the job as I was hardly wanting to go into the interview (when they asked why I wanted the job I had to say it's for "experience"; was really tempted to say "Because my Brother's GF made me come here!".) but I really want to know the result.

The thought of getting a new Pokemon game today is keeping me from getting really worried about it.. :goodvibes

Well done Matt. Even after all these years I'm nervous even when interviewing :goodvibes
