Saturday AM DME

I'm arriving Saturday morning - plane gets in at 9am. Anyone have experience with how long the wait is for DME? I'm hoping it's within an hour (from getting in line at ME to actually setting foot on resort property) I"m carrying on everything so I'm going straight from the gate to the DME. (staying at POLY)

Depends on how long you have to wait to get on a bus and what stop Poly is on the route. Just from our experience at POFQ we have waited anywhere from 5 minutes to get on a bus to almost an hour . After leaving the airport we have been stop 1, 2 or 3.

On average plan on 60 - 90 minutes to get to your resort when using DME. Sometimes it can be a little less and other times it could be more. It will depend on how long you have to wait on the bus at the airport, whether your resort is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th stop stop on the route, how long it takes at each stop to offload passengers and their luggage and how much traffic on the roads. There's no way of knowing how long it will take.

Plan on 90 mins and be pleasantly surprised when it's 70 mins!!! Here's a breakdown of possibly times, from leaving the gate, not time of landing....
1. gate to checkin podium.....5-15 mins, depending on pace and wait for the tram.
2. podium to bus line....1-5 mins.
3. in bus line, waiting for bus......1-25 mins, depending on how long ago the last bus to your resort left.
4. on bus, waiting to leave.....1-20 mins, depending on when you boarded the bus...if boarding towards the end of a line, probably a wait time of a minute. If at the front of the line, and first on the bus...could be 20 mins, waiting for others to arrive.
5. ride to your resort....30-45 mins, depending on which stop your resort is.

I've had times of 50 mins, I've had one time of close to 90 mins. Most times have been in the 70 min range.
