I noticed elsewhere that satu'li has real plates and silverware. Is it an option to take your bowl to go somehow? Im the only one who wants to eat there, so was thinking id take the rest of the picky eaters to flame tree on our way to boneyard and let kids play and eat. Is that possible? I know thats a long trek but it follows the path we are planning to take for the day!

If this is truly what you want to do, I'd bring a throw-away plastic container with a lid you can put the bowl into after you get it along with a plastic spoon/fork. I'm fairly certain they do not have any kind of to-go containers.

I would slide the food into the container and leave the bowl at the restaurant on one of the stations at Satuli. I would not remove the bowl etc from the restaurant area.

It has an outdoor seating area. Just a thought, but maybe your family could get their Flametree food and bring it there.

Sorry...I did mean the contents of the bowl, not the actual bowl. Considering I'm usually a very literal person, thank you HopperFan, for catching that small detail.

:goodvibes And those are big bowls so I'm thinking of the big square container she'd have to carry, to get the bowl inside.

And the likelihood security would follow her ....

haha im cracking up picturing trying smuggle a whole bowl out of a restaurant! We've got a decent chunk of time between FOP FP and Nemo scheduled there, so I can either send hubby and kids along (I don't think a quick lunch alone will be too terrible of a thing for a mom!) or they can get over it and sit and watch me eat before we head to dinoland :)

Thanks yall!

OH YEAH! Even if I didn't want to try it I might be pulling this one. Imagine having that extra time to wander and look at all the Pandora plant life without anyone wanting to hustle me off anywhere. It was like my first afternoon in World Showcase alone - GLORIOUS! Never thought of the whole food trick.
