Satu’li Canteen (Pandora Restaurant) Quick or Table Service

Does anyone know if the restaurant in Pandora will be quick or table service. My google search didn't offer much insight. To me the concept art looks as though it could be a buffet.

I don't see buffet in the concept art, just lots of tables and decor.

For some reason I feel like a video had implied QS but I do know some bloggers have stated it is QS. I always felt like Tiffins was their answer to a TS close by since it's really not close to anything else but Pandora. Some here on Disboards are saying they expect very limited soft openings ... am sure those folks who get the privilege will be reporting sooner than later what they are told or see.

I really hope this has some interesting choices, regardless of service type. I didn't think I'd care that much about Pandora, the Avatar movie was pretty, but pretty much Fern Gulley, but it looks like they killed it on this land/attractions, so I'm super excited!

I also got the impression it was QS. In the rendering it looks like metal chairs and they show lots of people passing through and such. You wouldn't show that is a sit down rendering.

And I guess there will be some type of kiosk, too?? I hope they don't put only one food place here. I love being able to grab something and walk along with it (and walking under a mountain while doing it will be pretty cool).

Most all advance indicators point to it being a quick service restaurant, including a tweet from last November from WDW.

- 1 Dining Location (discussed here) Satu’li Canteen
- 1 Merchandise shop, Windtraders
- 1 Special Drink location, Pongu Pongu (assume alcohol)

... I would guess a few given the expected crowds.

Yes - I am hoping for this, but maybe something a little more substantial than popcorn. Maybe sliders, or other little hand-held beauties! I love all the food options in AK - it is a great "grazing" park for me, similar to what Epcot is to some folks.

Well Avatar was an alien movie right? So maybe they are little baby alien organisms and we will be their new hosts so they can expand their population. It is all about conservation isn't it?

I can't wait to try all the new offerings and if it can make me glow in the dark ~ I'll take two!

On Disney's website, Satu'li is listed as Table Service. It also says Fast Casual. It also says it will accept 2017 Quick Service credits. No other Fast Casual is Table Service except BOG, and it's listed as both. It's like they are trying to be confusing.

But when you use search for TS it does not come up,
But when you use search for QS it does come up.

But mostly ....

They accept the QSDP, so they must be a QS.
You would not be able to use any component of the QSDP at a Table Service restaurant.

My guess is it is prime for ADRs like BOG and so has a place card in the system. Think about how massive BOG is and how hard it is to get an ADR ..... do we really think this will be that big and if it's not how much harder will it be to get an ADR.
