satellite view of Castaway Cay

I just pulled CC up on Google Earth and the imagery date is 3/7/2010. A good deal of locations on Google Earth allow you to view historical images, but CC just has the 1.

As previously reported the Yahoo imagery still includes either the Magic or Wonder.

the "00" indicates the height of any obstructions thai would impede the normal climb angle on take-off or the glide path for landing. A "00" runway is clear in both directions.

As far as I know, there are Disney employees who inhabit the island. I don't think there's very many of them.

According to the DCL Jobs website, Island Operations on CC has about 100 people who spend part or all of their contract time housed on the island.

How, the Magic is huge! I kinda always knew it, because I read it somewhere, but Magic and Wonder are so small names, so I thought they were small, but this just shocks me. Wow! Also I have to agree, that a lot of CC isn't used. I'm sure you could get lost in the forest.

DCL has a contingent of workers that live on CC 24/7.Mostly they are maint crews,such as santitation, bldg maint., mechanics etc. but there are some other workers thrown in for 1 reason or another, such as cooks, and anything else that you would need to survive on the island and prepare it for the next visit.
