As I am driving properly for the first time this trip I wanted to be organised. I know from driving with a friend a couple of years ago (and trying myself) that most things are fairly easy to find and the roads are fairly logical when you understand them.
However, I thought a Sat-Nav would be a good idea - I have a TomTom XL and had a look on their site and the USA map was in the sale - £20.97 (plus 8% Quidco so less £1.67 = £19.30). I am not sure if this was cheaper than hiring one out there - but I was so excited (yes I am sad) to realised I can pre-load all my destination!
Have done
Wilderness Lodge
Publix
Royal Pacific
Chilis
Boggy Creek
I don't know why but this laborious is bringing no end of excitement to my planning.
I'd be interested to know how useful people find the Sat Nav out there.
Many thanks
