Here's one pic from Chicago. We ate at the Melting Pot and were given complimentary strawberry champagne. It was delish, at least I thought it was. There was one hag who gulped it down since it was free.

Good morning everybody!! I'm back and let me tell you I'm exhausted!! It was a whirlwind 3 days! I had a fabulous time, but believe it or not there was not a lot of boozing-we were just too busy and got back to the room too late at night. I agree with Becca-it IS the windy city and my hair was the innocent victim! Oh yay-the cheese picture! Can't wait to see that lovely pic-NOT!! But it was funny so I'll allow it. Here are some highlights: dog poo in airport, snacks kindly left on the train for us, strange creatures all over our hotel and the convention center across the street (injection fairy anyone??), a strange lack of restaurants, and a green witch. Are you intrigued? Stay tuned and we'll fill you in!

Mmmmmm...more cheese and chocolate fondue please!! I enjoyed the free champagne, too! It was yummy! And so was the basil strawberry and vodka lemonade-most delish!

In front of the pot fountain at the MP. Not that you can see the fountain very well, but it was cool.

Angie and her cheese. After a fiasco of finding the El we got on and cheese slices were all over. We figured someone left us a snack except they forgot to leave the crackers so we did not partake in them. We were also still stuffed from dinner.

Bonnie has a nice shop in the Field Museum. I didn't realize she was so well connected in the Chicago metro area as its very difficult to get such prime retail space.

He obviously drank all the booze that we should have!! That couple had the great misfortune of being the only ones on the train with us during the great cheese escapade. But I'm not sure they spoke English so it was all good. Wonder why they weren't as amused by the cheese as we were?

Everyone was worried Bonnie scares people away. Lets just say we went to Navy Pier. All the way to the end.

Her internet is down at home. She said she'd check in on her lunch hour which is in a few minutes. That is if Becca and I didn't scare her away!

Hey hags!! Made it home safe and sound from the Chicago meet. I had a DELIGHTFUL time! Becca and Angie are exellent company and I had a lot of fun with them! Wicked was AWESOME and saw a lot of bizarre things that kept us laughing. It was a great meet!

Oh my word, Judi, there was an Anime convention across the street from out hotel,and many of them stayed at our hotel. They were dressed up so freakily! We commented that you would have enjoyed mocking them along with us!
