Are the Saratoga tree house villas secluded and distant from the rest of the property or is everything around the same area? Also if you want to take the bus to a theme park, is staying at a treehouse villa very inconvenient? TIA

If you search"Treehouse Villas" in google maps, you will see how secluded they are.

There is an "internal shuttle" that runs between the two Treehouse bus stops, The Grandstand (THV overflow parking) and The Springs (check-in, restaurants, shops, etc). To get to a theme park, you would take the internal shuttle to either the Grandstand or Springs bus stops and transfer to a theme park bus.

they are quite secluded, and it is probably better to use a car. boats are back to Disney Springs though.

There is also a path to walk around the golf course to Grandstand if you are up for walking.

You could request one close to the Grandstand which would be about the same walk to a bus stop as a lot of the other buildings BUT you will not be close to the main building and it is only a request. With that in cooler weather and if you don't mind walking... lets just say you can walk almost as much if not more at the BW or AKL if you the rooms at the ends of the buildings.

I potentially have a one night stay in a tree house villa coming up (have a waitlist to change it to a 2BR so that we potentially don't have to switch rooms). In the case that we don't have to switch rooms, will bell services be able to drive us from the lobby to our treehouse? We won't have a car this trip and will have both sets of grandparents and our little one, so might be difficult for us to walk over!

As to using a car to get from the treehouses to a park, a question I have is whether the theme park parking lot trolleys are running again yet. For a long time driving to a park has been a challenge because there have been no trolleys to take you from where you park to the front gate (or the TTC at MK). The result has been that taking buses to a park has been the better option because you could have a very long walk from where you park to the park entrance (and an extremely long walk at MK).

If you are not driving when you arrive, they do provide service to get you and your luggage to the room.

Yes the buses from the Treehouses are VERY inconvenient! But if your are patient and not in a rush it shouldn't be an issue. Its a long long walk to the amenities(feature pool, gift shop, restaurants) at Saratoga Springs as well. All depends on what kind of room you want. If you want secluded. That it is! If I was staying there I'd drive to AK, Epcot, and Studios and bus or Uber to MK. I probably wouldn't stay without a car but if I did Id Uber to all the parks.

Having stayed there, I can say that they are very secluded - we loved that part!! - but it is a long, long journey to anywhere by bus, as you first have to catch an internal bus (and we always seemed to have a 15-20 minute wait for one, then 15-20 minutes to the main bus stop), and then take the bus from there to the parks.

When we decided one morning that we'd just Lyft there, we discovered you can't actually get into the treehouse villa area without staying there; the entry to the area is not manned by a guard, so you need to have a room key. Which meant we had to walk down to the end of the road (about 15 minutes from our villa) to catch one.

We will definitely stay there again, but we will either do so on a mostly-resort-stay where we don't care if we go to the parks or how long it takes us to get to the parks, or if we rent a car while there.

We stayed in a treehouse nearer the Grandstand section and walked over to catch the bus. It was a pretty walk by the golf course and took 5 minutes or so. We lived our stay at the treehouses, they were quiet and secluded

A lot of people just use the car to drive to the Grandstand section of SSR and catch a bus to the parks.
