You might want to call and check on the daily maid service. We are going next week to SSR and staying for 6 days. Our reservation information states maid service only on a certain day. My understandin is that they come every three days nto daily. Again, I would call and double check.

That's probably a good idea. We stayed 10 days last year. We got trash & towels on day 4 and full cleaning on day 8.

Why can I not find much if any info on her about this resort? I wouldn't think its because its a DVC, because people talk about other DVC resorts here. Is it that bad that no one goes there? lol. TIA. Sean

I own at SSR and VWL and waitlisting for BCV and hands down my FAVORITE resort is SSR...once we get our BCV points we will be adding on to our SSR (our majority of points are SSR).

We love it - I could give a rip about overprice room service and love the condo style, gorgeous views, proximity to DTD and of course THE SPA!!!

We head *home* in January and I cannot wait!

Thank You for the info. No problem for us if housekeeping is only there every few days. As long as we have clean towels.

There is one thing great about DVC resorts. There are always plenty of towels by the pools. Anytime we wanted clean ones we just went down there and got a few. Then we would drop them off in the return the following morning.

If you booked at SSR paying cash for the room through CRO you will have daily maid service.

If you are a DVC member staying on points or a renter or guest of a DVC member, you will have trash and towel service on your 4th day and a full cleaning on the 7th. If you're staying on points, you can add daily maid service for a fee.

If you are staying in anything but a studio, you can wash and dry your towels in the room.

We booked thru CRO, the CM did say we would have daily service. This will be our first time staying at a DVC resort. I'm getting spoiled just thinking of having all that space in a 1 bedroom villa. Love the idea of the washer and dryer.
