Decided to call my guide recently to see what kind of skinny I could get on Saratoga Springs. Here's what he told me:
1. First building targeted to be open May 2004.
2. Expects to start taking reservations for SSR in Jan or Feb 2004.
3. Expects pre-sales to start in August 2003 (yikes....faster than I thought)
3a. Doesn't have the point schedule available yet.
4. Once first building opens in 2004, expect a new building to open each month for the next 10-12 months.
5. Total of 660 units will be built.
6. He expected details to be posted on the website as they became available, but has me in his file to send me info when it's released.
My only comment on this info is how can you expect to start pre-sales next month and NOT have the point schedule? You'd think that people would want to see that so they know how many points they'd need to buy for a studio, 1 BR, etc. So who knows if August is for real or if they are keeping the points schedule under wraps for now.
