hello! sorry for this unusual question. but i was planning to treat the dgf to a spa session at SSR. she loves pedicures, but would like to know what SSR pedicures are like. is it just a standard pedicure and then a foot soaking in a hydro-tub? does it include a foot massaging stress-reliever? :thumbsup2

....for that price, she was wondering if it's worth it or not.

appreciate any SSR spa veterans to chime in with any info!

Thanks!!!

I had one done 2 weeks ago and it was fabulous! Worth it? To me it was but then again I've never had a pedicure before so I can't compare it to anything else. The technician did soak my feet in a tub that was connected to the chair and put the chair on vibrate which was nice. She rubbed some oils and lotions and a type of scrub on my feet and lower legs so I was glad I undressed for it because I had on capris and they would have gotten in the way. She wrapped my feet in foil with the scrub on it and then when she removed the scrub, she polished my toe nails with the color of my choice. I felt like I was walking on clouds for 2 days afterwards which made it great to tour the parks. My girlfriend had one two and the two of us kept talking about wonderful our feet felt. My pedi is still looking really good and it's been 2 weeks.

Maybe someone else can chime in with their experience but I plan on getting one again next year! Well worth the pampering in my book!

How much did it cost? I LOVE pedis and would love to have a break and get one while there. thanks

I believe a spa pedi is about $60. Was thinking about doing this with my 7 yr old dd but she's kinda funny about things sometimes. Please anyone post about the "My First Pedicure". Just wondering if they do the virbrating water, etc, I think my dd would be weird about that. I certainly don't want to spend the $$ if she gets weird about it but I REALLY WANT ONE!!

As I recall, the water did vibrate but I wonder if that is something the technician could control.

We get a 20% discount off select services and the pedi is one of them. I think mine was about $50 plus tip. Again, well worth it and I will definitely get another next year!
