Someone reported on a thread somewhere around here earlier this week that all three Springs buildings are being worked on right now, simultaneously, and that they have not moved on from the Springs to standard rooms.

As a result of all of the Springs buildings being torn up, and Congress Park being done, I would imagine a preferred room is as good as a guarantee that you will get a remodeled room.

That is very useful information. I hope that is the case. I watched a few videos of the remodeled rooms and they look tons better than the previous ones

I have never stayed at Saratoga Springs. Considering a Deluxe Studio but I would definitely want a refurbished room. Is paying extra for a preferred room the only way to get a refurb? Do they have buildings open now that have NOT been remodeled? TIA. Getting a preferred room puts us a bit over budget...

Right now, the only refurbished areas are the Preferred Areas. So if you must have a refurb, you should book Preferred.

There are open Standard buildings, and no Standard building has been refurbished.

Unless everything shuts down again I am very sure about the Springs specifically yes.

PS Springs is preferred. If you need a refurbished room for next June I’d book preferred not standard. Standard may not be done by then.

Paul thanks for the update. They are moving along at a good pace now. Hoping that they finish up by April next year.
