Saratoga Springs Question

Thanks for all of your help. We have decided to go with Standard and request Grandstand or the southern portion of Paddock. If we get Grandstand, we will take the boat to DS. If we get the Paddock area we want, we will walk. Any suggestions for how to word the Paddock request?
Paddock Building numbers (with associated room numbers) ordered by closest to farthest from Congress Park:
65 (rooms 6501 - 6836)
61 (rooms 6101 - 6436)
55 (rooms 5501 - 5836)
51 (rooms 5101 - 5436)
45 (rooms 4501 - 4836)

Do you have an area at Paddock that you specifically request?
We typically don’t except maybe near pool, near disney springs or high floor. We enjoy walking, so as long as we’re in the Paddock, we’re close enough to the Springs to walk. I think we’ve been in every building in the Paddock now

Thanks for all the information! After talking some more, I think we may just request Grandstand. Deciding factor--first bus stop to the parks and more importantly, first off. We also enjoy walking. After looking at the map, I noticed Grandstand is near the Treehouse Villas. Is it possible to walk "through the woods" there? Also does anyone know where the walking path to DS from the Grandstand ends up?

All of those paths are part of the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and run all the way to OKW. They connect to DS at the far end of the Strawberry Parking Lot (past Cirque).

Not currently running. When they were (are), they stop at The Landing (adjacent to Jock Lindsey's. The boats to/from OKW also use that stop.
Any thoughts with the annoucment of POR and POFQ opening if the boats are going to star running again?

Yep. Approximate time from last sip at Jock's to first sip at Gurgling Suitcase was 43 minutes last time we did that. I about died! pirate: To be fair, there was a stop at the bathroom before leaving Jock's.

I have a thought. YES! We have a split stay of OKW/SSR/TPV at CR coming up in early December. This old Tigger needs them boats a runnin! :tigger:
When I first saw TPV I was thinking...what resort??? Then I put together....ah...Theme Park View at CR. So in the original A frame?

Yes. Just doing it last night as last day is MK day and my daughter and grandtinker have never stayed there. And I did say TPV @ CR because I knew it would confuse people if I just put TPV.

Not far by walking. 5 minutes, maybe a few more if you're on the far side.
How far to springs pool from Congress park? It appears I can walk to springs from CP in 5 min and the paddock with walkway from behind CP? Just wondering if I stay at CP how bad walk is to pools?

It depends, if you're on the far side of CP, it's a longer walk to the Springs Pool than from far side of GS. The CP side closest to Springs similar walk to Springs Pool as the average distance from GS.

I'd pick CP if I wanted a quiet pool and shorter walk to DS.

Do you all think the DS boats will be running by February? That may sway my decision on what to book.

There's a fairly good chance that the Springs area boats will start up either in October this year or shortly after - not a guarantee, but since that's when Port Orleans resorts reopen, in my opinion there's a good chance they'll get the boat systems at Disney Springs staffed and operating again fairly quickly after that.
