Saratoga Springs Model Photos

I like them alot! The units are identical in layout to those at Beach Club Villas, but with a different color palette. The wood is darker, colors less "beachy" - very appropriate for up north.

They won't be doing a model grand villa, so I'm not sure how we'll get to see one of those - without renting one, of course.

Looks very homey. Maybe its from being up North myself, but only VWL looks even vaguely homey to me. This one looks like the living room all my friends parents have.

That's what we've been waiting for! Thankyou very much for posting them here.

While it's not exactly my favorite style, it certainly has the feel of an upstate New York/New England inn or B&B! Disney sure knows how to capture a "feel".

Yes, it does kind of remind me of my grandmother's house, too.

I don't know what I thought it would be like but it just lacks something.

I called DH at work and told him to look at the link and he said it looks like a Hampton Inn.

The exterior shots of the buildings on other threads look great and the pool also does.

I guess I really can't say if I like it or not until I see it in person. I'm sure I could walk in and think it was stunning. Who knows? I guess we are more "Florida" architecture/decor type people.

Different strokes for different folks. I was very excited about the look they gave for the Eagle Pine project. Some people posted that it just looked like Florida. To me, that's a plus!

I still want to know where the racetrack will be located.

The decor is beautiful....but not really what I'm looking for in a vacation. I like something that takes me someplace other than the NE USA.....I grew up on PA and lived there until recently...and it reminds me of some of the homes where I used to babysit in Bucks Co.

Definitely not my grandparents' home.....but I don't think anyone would decorate a hotel like either of my grandparents decorate...LOL. Maybe some rich friends' grandparents.....

I really like the location of the resort, but I think when deciding where to add more points SSR won't be in the running. I had been really excited about this resort, but the theme just doesn't do anything for me particularly now that I've seen the room decor.

A lot of folks are commenting about the decor. Don't forget that most people truly hated the decor of the WLV when they first saw the pictures. Now there are those that don't want to stay anywhere else.

I like what I see of Saratoga right now more than I ever liked WLV. I am hoping that these pictures don't do Saratoga justice.

Thanks for the pics! I agree, it's not my type of decor. But being I'm from Michigan, it's things I see all the time, anyway. I vacation to see bright, tropical decor-things different than I see everyday. It may be a nice change of pace for those living in FL and staying at SSR.

I do agree that SSR has a great location and nice amenities, and maybe the room decor will look different to some people once they are immersed in the same decor of the resort.

I don't think any hotel room at Disney would look nice if you only thought of the hotel room, without picturing the lobby, landscaping, pools, and atmosphere that comes with it. It's definitely a "group effect" with each resort.
