Glad to hear you enjoyed SSR! We stay there quite often, and have yet to be disappointed. I agree that the Congress Park section is the best, as I love the view of DTD and the convenience of walking there. Hope you make it back soon!

I'm glad to hear you loved your visit. My wife and I are staying in a 2 bedroom with my sister her husband and their 2 and 5 year olds. My parents are staying in a 1 bedroom at the same time (free babysitting). We are going in January for the marathon (my wife and sister are racing). We were concerned because we hadn't heard too much about this resort, as my sister and her husband tried to get us into the boardwalk, then BC then AK and WL. Nothing else was available. Now as we dive in and read more we keep getting a little more excited, it seems that those who stay there love it and those that don't stay there don't know enough about it.

Thanks for posting every one. We are checking in tomorrow and I was a little worried because I didn't know much about the resort. I only booked it because we got a great deal. Now it sounds like it's a great resort,too!

That's interesting...if you paid with cash, you should have had housekeeping every day. If you paid with DVC points, you should have only had towels, etc every 4th day and a full cleaning (new sheets) on another day (I don't remember which one).

We paid cash, they left a hamper every other day and cleaned once. The day they cleaned, they actually took the hamper and we hadnt taken the fresh stuff out yet- they quickly brought up another though.

I wouldn't mind trying it, but since we only live about an hour away from Saratoga Springs, it wouldn't be anything that I haven't experienced for real at the real place. I would be interested to see what people who live and visit SS often say about the Disney resort. It's looks pretty nice though!
