Saratoga Springs kitchen and Taxi info

Hi all,

I am new here. We are leaving on Saturday for WDW and staying at Saratoga Springs. Can anyone tell me if the room provides any staples like condiments, oil, etc in the room? We ordered food from Garden Grocer.

Also, on a separate topic, do you think it would be smart to get a taxi and avoid the bus ride to the parks. I read such awful stories about the wait in the morning

No condiments are in the kitchen. they do have dishsoap amd dishwasher detergent and sponges/paper towels but nothing else. If you need anything you will have to buy it yourself. I stayed there last year and really didn't have any problems with the buses I will see if that changes when I check in June 7

There are no condiments in the room. We ordered from Garden Grocer, too. I usually buy a cheap seat of salt/pepper shakers (the kind they sell for picnics; plenty big enough) and through them in my suitcase. As for mustard, oil, etc., they do sell them at the SSR store, but they are pricey; you may wish to add to your Grocer order.

SSR is a great resort, but the buses can fill up fast because it is so large. During the busiest seasons, a car would come in handy here IMHO.

a cab will run you a solid $20 including tip from A to B in WDW. If you are wanting to avoid the busses everyday, I'd rent a car.
