Has anyone stayed in a Grand villa at saratoga? If so what did you think? What building were you in?? Did you have a nice view? Any information overal you can give me would be great! Also on hints or tips on the resort in general. Thanks!

I've not but I'm curious to hear reviews... considering I live 20 minutes from the *REAL* Saratoga Springs.

We stayed in a Congress Park GV and loved it. I would have preferred "The Springs" but we needed a H/C room. The room was huge and had surround sound in the living room area and had an intercom between the 2 floors. There was also an extra full bath off the kitchen. The washer and dryer were on the 2nd floor. The loft area was large enough for a king sized areo bed. The balony area was way to small and be warned that if you go out onto the baloncy do not shut the door as there wasn't a handle to get back in. DS went out at 6am for a smoke and was stranded until someone got up. We are early riser's so he wasn't out there for long.:lmao: . The walk to the main pool area wasn't to bad either. The veiw from our HUGE window was of the far end of P.I. if I remember correctly. At the time they were still doing the fireworks at DTD and we had a good veiw of this. We also had a guest use the gym area everyday and highly praise it. She is an aroebics instructer so every morning she was there at opening for her work out. We also felt the bus service was very good. I have a son in a wheelchair and everyone waiting for us to board the bus were very patient. We only had one bus driver get a little snarky with us as my Dson has a caregiver with him at all time's and after the bus driver would lock the chair in place my son's caregiver's would always check to insure it was safely locked. One and only one bus driver was offended by this. My DS caregiver just told the bus driver I'm doing my job your doing your's and all was well:love: . We went at Christmas and it was fun to decorate this unit. I took along some of my snow village and we put display's on the buffet table in the DR and on the tables in the LR. I had a christmas table cloth for the DR. We also brought along christmas hand towels. One of our guest's brought along a ton of home made christmas candy and a candy dish. Another of our guest's has family and friends in Florida and they all stopped by and everyone just loved the room. The food area and store were small but was enough for us. I was still able to get to get my Mickey bar fix. On the last day one of our guest had shopped more than she could pack and she took her stuff over to the store/food court area and they boxed everything and shipped it for her. I don't remember how much she paid to ship but it was reasonable. If you have any more question's ask away.

1) Stayed in one in The Springs.
2) It was nice.
3) It was new.
4) But, it was FAR, FAR smaller than a GV at OKW.
