Saratoga Springs air conditioning

Just booked for SSR in August. Wondered what the air conditioning is like - as this may be quite important at this time of year!

Stayed at POFQ a couple of years ago and the unit in the room was very noisy - one of those 'under the window' units - so loud kept us awake at night.

At WL this July, no problems with the central air conditioning (and the fan) - though we turned the fan off at night. Hoping that SSR rooms will have a similiar cooling system.

I would hope that as a pretty new set up things would work well mechanically

But I also wanted to add it looks as though we'll be at SSR at the EXACT same time- we would love to meet up with some fellow dis boarders! Just look for the haggered parents with the 2 very active 4 yr old boys!

SSR has built in central type air conditioning. It isn't a wall/window unit like POFQ. Very quiet. You can hardly tell they're on.

I was hoping this would be the case - but just checking.

sz9144 - We are staying at Royal Pacific over at Universal for the first 9 nights of our stay and then we are going over to SSR on 27th August for a further 5 nights - what date do you check into SSR and how long are you staying?

Your options are to hit buttons on the thermostat in a certain order to override the motion detector. The non-technical option is to tie a helium balloon to a chair somewhere near a vent (or below a ceiling fan) that is in range of the control unit.
