Trying to decide which area of SS would be best for us. 2 adults and a 6 year old. We will have a car but would like to take bus to MK and Epcot. Suggestions?

Would like not too much walking to get to pools, arcade, etc., but also decent access to busses. I've hard Grandstand can be difficult to turn out of with a car?

"The Springs" is closest to the main pool.

The Grandstand is the first bus stop to pick up and drop off. You might spend a little more time on the bus on the way to your park, but you are just about guaranteed to get on the first bus, and you will be dropped off first when you are heading back to your room.

There is a nice "quiet" pool nearby and it is about a 5-7 minute walk to the main pool.

Definitely our favorite area to stay if we are heavy into park mode.

Congress Park is nice if you plan to spend much time at DTD, as it is very close to walkway to Marketplace and boat to West Side. It also has a quiet pool and is easily walkable to the new pool.

We stayed at the Paddock on the side closest to Congress Park. The bus stop was right across the street. Beyond that was a great quiet pool and hot tub and a little further was the bridge to DTD. If we went the other way there was a great pool. The Carriage House was just a short walk too. We found it to be a great location given we were there for 2 weeks. We loved being able to walk to DTD for starbucks in the morning and going back at night for dinner.

We stayed in the Carousel and loved it! The pool is one building over (we thought it was better than the main pool) and the bus stop was next to our building, 2nd stop. Quiet, could watch golfers from our balcony, fountain in a pond ....I'd stay in the same building again anytime!

We stayed in the Paddock area, and requested the building near the bridge, which we got. The pool with splash area and great slide was right next to the building. The bus stop is right next to the pool. We also had a leisurely walk to the Springs pool and main building.
